ELYX docs

ELYX is a perpetual futures exchange for Elysium, Kinetiq's Arbitrum Orbit L2 settling to HyperEVM. It lists Hyperliquid's most-traded perps, marks them to Hyperliquid's live prices and funding, and settles every position through a port of the percolator risk engine.

Network

Press Connect in the app and ELYX asks your wallet to switch to (or add) Elysium automatically.

Prices and funding

Every 2.5 seconds the node calls Hyperliquid's public info API with metaAndAssetCtxs. That single call returns each perp's mark price, 24h volume, open interest, previous-day price, maximum leverage and hourly funding. ELYX lists the top 24 by 24h volume, uses Hyperliquid's leverage caps, and accrues funding every second at Hyperliquid's hourly rate whenever both sides hold open interest.

The percolator engine

Backed exits (H). Capital is senior and profit is junior. The residual is V − (C_tot + I), and open profit is paid at H = min(Residual, ΣPnL⁺) ÷ ΣPnL⁺. No account can withdraw more value than exists on the balance sheet.

Queue-free ADL (A/K/F). Each side of a market carries lazy indices. Mark moves update K += A·ΔP, funding updates F, and a liquidation shrinks A so losses spread pro-rata across the side in O(1). No one is picked off a queue.

Bounded cranks. A single price update can move at most max_move_bps (8%) of the last price, so a bad tick can't push unbudgeted loss through open interest.

Side recovery. If a side's A falls below 0.25 it enters DrainOnly (closes only). Once its open interest reaches zero it resets with a new epoch and returns to Normal.

Warmup. Fresh profit is reserved for 25 seconds before it counts toward withdrawable value, which blocks open-and-close profit games around price updates.
